Models we assess

Every Omega family, assessed to calibre level

Speedmaster

Professional & pre-Professional

Pre-Moon cal. 321 (CK2915, CK2998, ST105.003), cal. 861, 1861, and modern cal. 3861. The specific reference and movement determines value — we identify every Speedmaster correctly.

Seamaster

Diver 300M, Aqua Terra & vintage

Modern Diver 300M (ref. 2531.80, 2254.50, 210.30), vintage Seamaster 30 and 120, and rare early Seamaster dress watches. Dial integrity and bracelet originality assessed per piece.

Constellation

Pie-pan dials & later models

Early Constellation pie-pan dials are highly collectible. We assess dial condition, case shape (C-case, lollipop seconds, Manhattan), and movement originality on every example.

De Ville, Railmaster & other

All Omega families

De Ville dress watches, Railmaster (anti-magnetic), Flightmaster chronographs, and Genève range. No Omega family is outside our assessment scope.

Why calibre identification matters

A Speedmaster's value depends on what's inside it

Two Omega Speedmaster Professionals can look identical from the outside and differ in value by thousands of pounds. The calibre 321 movement — fitted to the watches selected for the Apollo missions — commands a very significant premium over the later cal. 861. The only way to confirm the movement is to check inside.

Our specialists identify Omega movements to calibre level and cross-reference against the serial number database to confirm correct pairing. This is standard practice in our assessment — not an optional extra. It means sellers with pre-Moon Speedmasters receive offers that reflect the true value of what they have.

Omega Constellation pie-pan dials

The early Omega Constellation "pie-pan" dial — named for its distinctive stepped profile — is one of the most sought-after Omega designs. Dial originality (the lume plots, the printing, the condition of the chapter ring) determines value. Do not clean or polish a Constellation before assessment.

Frequently asked questions

What Omega watches do you buy?

All Omega models and eras: Speedmaster Professional (including pre-Moon cal. 321, 861, and 321 re-issues), Seamaster (Diver 300M, Aqua Terra, vintage 30 and 120), Constellation (pie-pan dials particularly sought after), De Ville, Railmaster, Flightmaster, and vintage dress watches. We assess all calibres from early manual-wind movements through to Co-Axial Eternamatic.

Is a pre-Moon Omega Speedmaster more valuable?

Yes, significantly. The Speedmaster Pre-Professional with calibre 321 movement (references CK2915, CK2998, ST105.003) were the watches qualified for the Apollo missions and command a substantial premium over later calibre 861 examples. The specific reference and production date, confirmed through serial number and movement inspection, determines the value.

Do you buy Omega watches that need service?

Yes. We assess Omega watches in all conditions — working, non-working, and requiring service. A non-working Speedmaster with original dial and unpolished case can be worth considerably more than a serviced example with a refinished dial. Do not service before selling — let our specialists assess the watches as they are.

Omega calibre guide for sellers

The Omega calibres that determine value

Unlike many brands, Omega watch values are tied closely to the calibre fitted — the specific movement inside the case. Two Speedmaster Professionals can have identical cases and dials, and yet differ in value by several thousand pounds based solely on the movement.

The calibre 321 was used in all Speedmasters selected for and worn during the Apollo missions. It is a column-wheel chronograph with a beautifully finished movement and a distinctive appearance. References CK2915, CK2998, ST105.003, and the transitional ST105.012 all used the cal. 321. Later watches used the calibre 861 — a reliable but less collectible movement that replaced the 321 from 1968. The difference between the two, in an otherwise comparable Speedmaster, can be £3,000–£8,000 or more at current auction levels.

For Seamasters, early manual-wind movements in original condition carry the strongest premiums. For Constellations, the pie-pan dial and C-case configuration is specifically sought by collectors. Our specialists identify all of these details as standard during assessment.

Omega serial numbers

Omega published serial number records that allow precise production year dating. If you have the caseback serial number for each piece, our specialists can confirm the exact production year and whether the case and movement are correct-pairing. This matters for value. A Speedmaster with a mismatched movement and case is worth less than a correctly paired example — and sellers often do not know this before approaching us.

Frequently asked questions — continued

What makes an Omega Constellation pie-pan dial valuable?

The early Omega Constellation "pie-pan" dial — named for its stepped profile — is one of the most collectible Omega designs from the 1950s–1960s. Value depends on dial integrity (original lacquer, intact printing, no refinishing), case shape (early C-case and later styles), and movement originality. Do not clean or polish a Constellation before assessment: original patina preserves value.

Do you buy Omega watches with original boxes and papers?

Yes, and original box and papers (known as "full set") adds meaningfully to value for desirable references. For Speedmasters, particularly cal. 321 examples, full set documentation — including the guarantee booklet, hang tags, and chronograph pusher protectors — significantly increases what a collector will pay. Keep everything you have with the watches when you send them.

Can I sell Omega watches and other watches together?

Yes. Many sellers send mixed collections of Omega and other brands. Each piece is assessed individually regardless of what it arrives with. You will receive separate written valuations on every watch. If you have watches from multiple brands, you are not required to sell any specific piece — accept or decline on a piece-by-piece basis.
