Request a ValuationAbout the Omega Seamaster
The Seamaster name dates to 1948, but the modern Diver 300M arrived in 1993 with its wave-pattern dial and helium escape valve. Later generations adopted the ceramic bezel and dial and the anti-magnetic Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement.
Seamaster references and generations
Key references and variants we regularly assess:
- Reference 2531.80 — classic blue wave-dial 300M
- Reference 212.30 — 41mm Co-Axial 300M
- Reference 210.30 — current ceramic-dial 300M
- Aqua Terra 150M references with the teak dial
- Planet Ocean references (assessed separately)
Movements and calibres
Modern Seamasters use Omega's Co-Axial calibres, including the anti-magnetic Master Chronometer 8800. Running condition and service history feed the valuation.
What affects the value of a Omega Seamaster
Among the factors we weigh when valuing a Omega Seamaster:
- Reference and generation
- Dial and bezel type (aluminium vs. ceramic)
- Box, papers and service records
- Overall condition and bracelet stretch
- Prior polishing
- Current demand for that reference
Selling a Omega Seamaster without box or papers
Missing paperwork does not put a sale out of reach. We may consider a Omega Seamaster without its original box, papers, warranty card or receipt.
Any purchase remains subject to authentication, condition inspection, and ownership and identification checks. Documentation can affect valuation depending on the piece, and we will always explain how.
How Fair Vintage assesses your Omega Seamaster
We look at originality first — dial, hands, case and, where relevant, bezel and bracelet — then movement condition and any service history.
Replacement parts, prior polishing, provenance, and box and papers all feed into the assessment. We explain our reasoning so the offer is one you can understand and rely on.
